Vedas was formed in the basement of Alex Greene's house. Originaly a trio (featuring Alex Greene on drums and vocals, Chris
Chaloff on guitar and vocals and Adam Mason on bass and lead vocals) Vedas later added guitarist Alec Weedon to round out
their sound. Influenced heavily by Phish, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, The Doors, and Bob Marley
they have created a rock group with an experimental, jam based edge. Their sound ranges from reggae, to funk, to jazz, and
even to hard rock when the mood strikes. They are planning to record a live show in March and a studio album to follow. Playing
live in and around Dover, MA, they never play a song the same way, creating an exciting unpredictable atmosphere. For more
